We take a very systematic approach to website development. We share the guidelines below to ensure that both the client and our team are on the same page throughout the process.

Initial Setup
At first, you can sit back and relax whilst we do all the boring code etc. However, during this period of development, it would be a good idea to start collating your content and having a think about imagery.

Content Insertion
We will provide a cheat sheet on the best and easiest way to supply all your text, images, links and video. We like to keep this process as streamlined as possible to ensure we do not confuse each other. Creation of content is solely up to you, the client unless you’ve engaged us for copywriting and photography. To ensure we stick to our deadlines, we prefer to have all content supplied at once, not in dribs and drabs.

Alterations
There will no doubt be alterations to supplied content, perhaps you misspelt something or you prefer if a sentence was worded a little different. We get it, it happens, and it cannot be avoided. Whilst we suggest taking great care in ensuring your content is correct initially, I will provide a guide on the best way to supply alterations as we go along. Keep in mind whilst we don’t mind doing minor alterations, major alterations may need to be billed extra. We will be sure to let you know if this is the case prior to starting.

Testing
This is the exciting bit, all the content is in, we’re happy and it’s time for testing. This is done on multiple devices: PC’s, Mobiles, Tablets by different people in different places.

Going Live
This is the point to choose from one of our Care Plans (https://stokedesign.co/care-plans). Our care plans include the hosting space, domain name and the SSL certificate your website needs to ensure it is up and running fast and secure. We will also issue any outstanding invoices and once paid, the website will have its big day! Once the website is live, you will receive monthly reporting on how users are using your website and we may chime in every now and then with recommendations.
