We’re hiring! We’re looking for a Web Designer & Developer to join our Ballarat-based team full-time. You’ll design and build websites that don’t just look good, they perform beautifully and feel effortless to use. From wireframes to fully responsive sites, you’ll work closely with our clients and team to bring ideas to life through thoughtful design, functionality, and an eye for detail.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Designing and developing responsive websites.
- Creating layouts, graphics, and visual assets that align with brand identity.
- Collaborating with clients to interpret and translate their vision.
- Working alongside our team to deliver polished, functional web solutions.
- Managing design assets and maintaining quality across all digital outputs.
What We’re Looking For
Core Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in UX and UI website design.
- Strong Front-End Development skills in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in graphic design and visual layout composition.
- Ability to translate client goals into intuitive, impactful design solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities, including use of time management software and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality execution.
- Ability to work full-time from our studio in Ballarat.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of WordPress and popular page builders such as Elementor and WP Bakery.
- Confident working within cPanel environments, including backend structures and hosting management.
- Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, GitHub.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, including payment gateways and shipping methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they influence design and development.
- Familiarity with APIs and how they integrate with website functionality.
- Working knowledge of Shopify, LLM’s, MCP and AI is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
